AboutAirportParking.com was designed with a pretty simple question in mind, “Where should I park my car on my next trip?” From our own experiences, we found there was a lot of variation in airport parking lots. Some were close to the airport, some were a lot more expensive and some just had really bad service.
We also found that your personal situation mattered. At our home airport, SFO, for example, two of the lots are south of the airport, but all of the rest are about three miles north. If you’re coming from the south, it just didn’t make much sense drive 10 minutes past the airport to park so the shuttle can take another 10 minutes coming back to the airport.
We figured that if we had these problems, maybe others would be interested in our answers. We’ve gone out and collected information on all the lots that we can find. We put it in one place where it’s hopefully easy to find and use. If you like it, let your friends know and link to us.
We’re based just south of San Francisco airport, a mile away from two airport parking lots and close enough to see the planes land.
