Airline Pilot not helped
Posted by: Daniel Hofle on September/19/2007
I fly for an airline and am based in Memphis. Knoxville airport allows me to commute from home in Western North Carolina to Memphis without much trouble. When I approached the parking staff about my need for an employee parking ticket, it seemed as though I would never be able to get one.
The parking for employees needs to be expanded so commuters like me (who need parking between 12-20 days a month) can save 150 bucks a month by not using the long term parking. The parking garage there is relatively new and in good shape, never had a problem there.
Pros: Parking location and availablility is good for travelers.
Cons: Low priority for helping commuting pilots could have an affect on how many carriers service the airport/where pilots choose to be based
