Oakland: Park N Travel

Park N Travel is the closest private lot to the airport, and the price is right, but it has a few quirks. There was only a single employee on duty when I dropped off my car at 8 a.m. on a Thursday and picked it up at midnight on a Saturday. What I dropped it off, that employee was on a shuttle run to the airport and we had to wait about 10 minutes for her to return. The small lot was full, but we had a reservation (reservations are a must), so we double parked and left her the key. I ended up losing my claim ticket,but I phoned them before returning and a short be that everything would be fine, as indeed it was. They had accurate records of when I dropped off the car, so the fee was correct. a shuttle bus arrived at the airport in a reasonable amount of time, and the driver was courteous and helpful, but when I neglected to tip him, he told me in no uncertain terms that he expected a tip.
