review of parking

(November 11, 2009) we stayed for 10 days and when we returned our car was completely covered in bird poop! No joke. We complained to the manager a few days later being that he wasn't there when we picked up our car. He said he would pay for any cleaning that is done on the car. He said just send him a bill. By the way I have had the car washed twice and it still has droppings on it.

If you have time, there's no reason not to park here

(November 10, 2009) I got the online special of $11 per day... compared to $33 at the airport. There's a shuttle that take about 5-7 mins each way. If you're not in a rush and you want to save some cash, it's pretty simple.

Good place to park near JFK

(November 10, 2009) This was overall a good experience. They only have one shuttle van, so be prepared to wait for it for a while, especially during busy times. The price quoted on here does not include tax, even though that is not mentioned anywhere on the receipt or this web site. My car was kept safe, and was brought to my fairly quickly when I finally arrived at the lot, after taking a taxi to get there.

(October 30, 2009) This is a great service at a "park it yourself" price! It took the van 9 minutes to pick us up which I felt was good. And they have your car waiting out front for you when the shuttle brings you back..... I'll do it again and again...

(October 20, 2009) It's very practical and saves money compared to parking on airport ground. Dropping the vehicle off was a breeze and they were quick to drop us to the airport as a complimentary shuttle service. One needs to budget around 20 to 30 minutes between vehicle dropoff and terminal arrival. For the pickup when one come back from the airport there's about a 10 to 15 minutes wait before one of the two shuttle buses comes around. From then getting your car back is a rather quick process. There's a 59 minutes grace period before they charge an extra day.

(October 16, 2009) The ride to the airport was a bit long... it was early morning and we had to stop at 3 other terminals before arriving at Delta, and the vans are bumpy, loud and uncomfortable, but other than that, we really enjoyed the Air Park service. The return pick up was quick and we appreciated that. All people we encountered were professional, polite and knowledgeable. So I give you 4 stars and would def use again.

(October 2, 2009) We left our car at AirPark for 16 days from September 13 to September 30th. It was an excellent experience. We were taken to our departure terminal immediately and picked up within 10 minutes of our call when we came back to N.Y.C. We did read the one negative review before we left, but we are glad we did not let it affect our decision to use AirPark. We can assure you we have nothing but good things to say about the company and the drivers. We will definitely use the service again. Thank you.

(October 2, 2009) Our experience was a good one except that it was initially difficult to locate where to turn in to the parking lot. The Sign on Conduit Rd. was unclear and we were confused with the Comfort Inn right next door. A good value for the price and quite convenient.

Yhe staff was friendly and drivers very helpful* The only thing that i believe needs some improvement is: making Handicap access to the shuttle bus more user and employee friendly. *Your drivers should not have to work so hard to help. Signage to to the lot could use a little help too. with that said I will use you guys again in the future and WOULD recomend your service to other people.

Easy to find, very quick departure to airport terminal, a short wait upon return and easy to get on the highway back home to Connecticut. Staff was efficient and courteous.

Affordable Parking

(September 24, 2009) Parking at AirPark was smooth and simple. After checking in, we waited about 5 minutes and the shuttle was back and ready to take us to out terminal. The driver loaded all of our bags and we were at the airport less than 10 minutes later. Coming back, called the 800 #, gave my claim #....came out to the pick up area and the driver was there in 2 minutes (coming from another terminal with other passengers)...this was the easiest thing ever! The car was pulled out and waiting for us when we returned to the lot. I would definitely be using AirPark again on my next travel!

Reservation mix-up

(September 24, 2009) I had reserved the parking online for $5.30 and printed my confirmation via E-Mail reservation (# 78024) for a daily rate of $11.77. I showed them the sheet and he scanned the barcode off the sheet and opened another reservation ticket without my knowledge (#165273) for a daily rate of $20.00. On the day I returned from my trip I called them and gave them my original reservation number and they said they could not find that number in the system so he looked for my car utilizing my name. When I went to pay I didn’t notice that I was overcharged until I was driving home I called them back and they said they know what happened. I spoke to George and then James and they insured that I will be reimbursed the difference. Overall the service was wonderful the staff knows how to get you in and out of the airport quickly and safely. People please remember to tip the luggage carriers well they are very nice and work hard. Other than the mix-up with the reservation the experience was a pleasant one, also the online customer service was very informative and friendly. I would definitely use this service again

(September 22, 2009) About Airport Parking is a quick, efficient and remarkably economical way to book off-sight airport parking. AirPark Valet is a convenient location for me. The staff has always been courteous and very helpful processing my reservation in order to get me to the terminal in time as I rush to catch my flight. The wait time after calling to be picked up seems to be a little less consistent and could improve if only by 5 minutes. Those few minutes would make a alot of difference in the customer's satisfaction and their desire to park again with AirPark Valet. As I mentioned, the location is so conveient for me I will continue to book there, but for others who are shopping around, the wait time to be picked up and brought back to your car should improve to ensure repeat business. Could Have been better!

(September 21, 2009) I parked my car at airpark, during last 3 weeks in August. The front desk lady and the cabin drivers were awsome.They treated me like a king! I am sure thats how a customer should be treated. But I felt, my car was driven a little bit when i returned.The interor was having a strange stain on the right hand rear door.I was just wondering , whther some body used the car during those interval.The mileage as well was little too much to be explained as drving inside the parking lot.It was 27 Miles.(I wish i am wrong!but my parking mileage and the returned mileage was that different) I still wants to thank the front desk staff and the cabin drivers for their great service.

Very Satisfied with Stay

(September 21, 2009) Whenever I travel I use AirPark for my car. I never have to wait for the shuttle to the airport, staff is courtous and have an appreciation for your time --whether leaving for your trip or going home. I recommand to everyone I know travelling.

(September 12, 2009) Droppedoff car they took my lugage and loaded it onto the shuttle and dropped me off at the airport within 15 minutes of arriving. When i came back from vacation i got my luggage called them i arrived. They told me where at the airport to meet them. Came picked me up had my car ready as soon as i arrived with the keys and everything. Loaded up my car and left. Very smooth

Minimal problems

(September 12, 2009) We were overall happy with AirPark experience. Conditions, location, price, courtesy,... all excellent. Only problem we experienced was at the return pickup: missed and the company didn't initiate immediate contact to us. I am not deducting any stars for this issue as in the crowds at JFK missed pickups are almost a given. However, simple improvements are possible for better pickup: ask customer about their appearance; record customer phone # either by recording caller ID or by asking the customer; do not wait for missed customer to call you, other way around is better.

Car looked like it was searched

(September 1, 2009) The service was fine until the next morning when I was home and to look for my sun screen and found that they were missing. I then looked into my glove compartment to find that everything was out of order and ransacked. Nothing seemed missing in glove but then I checked my center console to find that it was also out of order and my power inverter and pocket knife was missing as well. I feel absolutely violated and will never never use them again. They were one of the cheapest services but you pay for it in the difference that they got from selling your stuff. Very unprofessional and unethical. If you want to save money don't go to AirPark!!

Good Price but disappointed on pickup

(September 1, 2009) Price was great, drop off and getting to the airport was flawless and timely, however, we waited 50 minutes for the van to pick up at the curb. Would have been worth a $10 cab to the facility instead of waiting again. Could have been a bad traffic day at JFK but that was a tough wait coming back from vacation having traveled all day

An Excellent Value For Long-Term Parking at JFK

(August 29, 2009) I made a reservation on-line, and received prompt, live courteous help over the phone with some questions I had. I was going to be gone for 10 days- at least $180 at JFK's own long-term lots. After finding the AirPark facility (a bit difficult, though it is quite near the airport- and the only reason I have not rated them a "5") I was promptly delivered by van to my terminal. When I returned from abroad I called the lot and was picked up within 5 minutes at the passenger pick-up in front of the terminal. My car was ready and accessible, and the best part: the bill was $111, as advertised- a savings of over $70 from the JFK and other local long-term lots. I can recommend AirPark with complete confidence, and will use them again for any other long-term parking needs.

We were transported quickly and our car was up front and ready upon our arrival at their lot! We signed, loaded and were off..it was easy, fast and seamless! Thank you!

Great Deal

(August 28, 2009) Airpark Valet probably offers the best rates for long term parking at JFK and they get you to and from the airport without a hitch. Excellent service and courteous employees. Use some of the money you save to tip them well.

Lost keys

(August 26, 2009) we arrived and were immediately checked in and taken to a shuttle. No one offered to help us with our bags, getting on or off the van. On our return, we were picked up promptly, and the driver, an older gentleman, did help with bags. when we got to the lot, we were told our keys couldn't be found. After about half an hour, they were found in the car's center console. We were anxious to leave at that point, and didn't check the bill carefully. Upon arriving home I found that we'd be charged $13 per day, as opposed to the $11 per day we reserved for, although we presented our receipt on arrival. All in all, not a good experience. Next time we'll pay a little more and go to Avistar.

Long term discount

(August 23, 2009) Those of us who travel for 2 weeks plus at a time find it cheaper and faster to take a chauffeur driven limousine. I would suggest a flat rate for an extended stay beyond 2 weeks and up to 4 - i.e. a "month rate of $200. Even in NY city you can get a $300 month rate for parking in Manhattan. What about discount coupons for existing customers only in the mail ? Thanks

Facility conflicting with service

(August 18, 2009) The service was efficient and that is good. But good service gets a bit drowned out when entering a facility that is so grungy and lacking clean bathroom facilities for clients who may have travelled a long distance and are in need of relief before jumping on a shuttle.

Airport parking

(August 18, 2009) The driver was polite and efficient. It was fast and easy. My only complain is the restroom. Horrible and dirty. I felt like I nneded a showe when I came out. My wife was disgusted but had no choice after a long drive. Next time may reconsider using another parking area for that reason.

(August 17, 2009) We had a good experience. When we arrived, we didn't have to wait for the shuttle. When we returned home, we called and the driver was very prompt. Our car was out and ready for us when we returned. Very satisfied, would use again. Also reasonably priced compared to other lots in the area.

(August 3, 2009) We had a wonderful experience with AirPark. On our morning of departure, all went smoothly and we arrived at the airport with much time to spare. On our return flight, we landed a 30 minutes early but was subject to being held, with all plane passesngers, in customs, while JFK authorities checked out the possible transport of an illegal item from Jamaica. Even though we were totally off-schedule for pick-up-almost, if not past midnight, AirPark was there in 5 minutes to pick us. Our car was ready and waiting when we arrrived back at the depot.
