| (April 16, 2012) I recently took a Disney cruise and parked my
car for a week at the JFK SmartPark. The GPS instructions are a little odd, (My GPS requires
that I enter a nonexistent address in order to
get to the SmartPark lot.) but otherwise, we on the
bus on the way to the airport within 5 minutes. On
the return, I waited less than 10 minutes for the
shuttle and the car was waiting for us when we
got to the lot. It was cheaper than long term
parking and a lot faster. (It can be a long walk
to the AirTrain at JFK.) I don't travel much,
(maybe a couple of times a year.) but I always
use SmartPark.

| (April 15, 2012) The lot was clean and the staff was friendly when we dropped off our car. We didn't have to wait for the shuttle going and coming from the airport. Check in and out was quick and easy. However, when we were picked up from the airport, the driver did not help with the luggage, he just stood to the side while I carried 2 suitcases into the shuttle and while he was driving the luggage slipped out of the area and was moving around the shuttle. I had to hold the luggage with my legs so they wouldn't crash into my wife and I. He didn't bother to stop and adjust the luggage. He didn't help when we got off the shuttle either. But we got to the airport and back on a timely basis so that's what mattered. |

| Missed our Flight ! |
| (April 13, 2012) We arrived at SmartPark lot at 5:30 am. on 4/5/12 shuttle was running and waiting. The staff was very fast at getting us out of car and into the shuttle less then 5 min. Two other people arrived about the same time. Then many other guest pulled in and were getting on the shuttle, we all had our suitcases on the luggage rack on the shuttle. After 10 min. or so the driver got on the shuttle and called the other driver to ask where he was and to hurry back!!! Now more cars were arriving to the lot and we had to wait even longer!! Now 15-20 min had past,the shuttle bus is full other guest in the lot could not board. Again the driver called the other shuttle to ask where he was??? Now our driver proceeded to re-arrange all the suitcases so they all can fit on the luggage rack. now 25 mins has past and we were off to air port. Jet Blue was our airline and is the 1st termminal at JFK now it is 5 mins. after 6:00 am. We get to jet blue counter and they tell us we are too late and can not get onto flight because TSA has closed the inspection of the luggage for this 7:00 am. flight at 6:00 am. Our trip was to the Dominican Republic and Jet Blue has one flight per day, they tell us they can fly us out the next morning,or they can fly us out at 11:30 to Santiago! Santigo is 2 hours from our destination. We had to take a taxi and spend an extra $130.00 to get from Santiago to our resort! we arrived at our resort at 6pm !!!
My advice to SmartPark is to make shure all of your drivers are on the ball!!! The other driver that was late to come back caused our driver to be delayed! I have used other shuttle services at other airports and never has it ever took so long to get to the termminal!
On the way back I called for pickup and the shuttle was waiting for us when we got out of the airport, got us back to the lot and my car was ready. The staff was courteous, check in and out process was promp, and car was the same way I left it.
Due to the delay on getting us to the airport I will more than likely use a different parking facilty or onsite airport parking. |

When my family arrived at the SmartPark location at 3:00 a.m. on the day of our departure, we were able to get into a shuttle to JFK within minutes. When we arrived back at JFK, the shuttle was there within minutes after we got our luggage. The shuttle buses are clean and have never been overcrowded. THis is definitely a much cheaper alternative to costly car service to and from the airport. |

| (April 11, 2012) This was my first time using SmartPark JFK. Overall the service was friendly and reliable. The wait at JFK for a pick up was 17 minutes - a bit longer than advertised, but it was a very busy night. The only substantive change I would recommend is that directions out of SmartPark to various locations be printed out and on the desk for people to take for their return home. Signage is terrible and there is very little time to react in heavy traffic to what little signage there is. I will use SmartPark JFK in the future. |

We also had a difficult time finding our way home from the lot to the Belt Way.
I would have helped if there were better directions for us. We came at night and left the lot early morning when it was still dark.
I may have been us not being familiar with the location. But, we wasted 30 - 45 minutes both ways.

Last year they charged $10.95/day; this year price was raised to $14.95.
I am planning to use SmartPark JFK in a future if the price doesn’t jump again.

| (November 23, 2011) Helpful sign to find the place when you exit the highway. I got there around 8am and there where shuttles waiting to load travelers. I literally got out of my car and walked onto a shuttle, my luggage was taken care of and we got to the airport in about 10 min, if that. Now, getting picked up from the airport was a different story.... I (and a few other passengers) waited exactly 40 min for a shuttle... It was 11pm when the first phone call was made and I was told a shuttle would be out shortly. 30 min later, still no shuttle so a second phone call was made and I was told the same thing and the shuttle was there 10 min after that. Once at the parking lot, the people were accomadating and took off a whole $2 per day for parking as compensation for our waiting. Would I use them again??? Maybe... |

They took a video of the car and parked it for us. We got dropped off at our terminal and helped off the shuttle. The ride was less than 10 minutes from the airport. We arrived at 1am and the shuttle picked us up within 10 minutes from when we called. When we returned to the lot the car was waiting in the front. We paid and were on our way within 5 minutes. The front desk is extremely friendly. When we arrived at JFK after an overnight flight from Lima, the shuttle arrived at the terminal in 5-10 minutes. The car is ready when we came to the parking lot. We took off after paying the fee. All is done in less that 30 minutes. We highly recommend SmartPark for anyone who is seeking for a perfect place to park the car. |

| (October 14, 2011) i've used jfk smart park a number of times over the past several years and always was pleased with the experience, prompt service, and a good price, though this time i was a little surprised by the $3 gas surcharge.....i believe that is cost of doing business, and a surcharge is not necessary..doing the math if oyu have on average three parties each trip to the airport, that's $9 per r/t and since you'r very close to jfk, doubt you use that mcuh gas...plus the price of gas has come down.
but saying that, would use jfk smart park again |
