We had a bit of a wait for the shuttle when we returned from our trip, but the driver dropped us close to our car and assisted us with our luggage. | (August 3, 2010) I reserved a space with Mission Brewery the night before my flight for 4:30 in the morning. I was unaware of the construction situation at the San Diego airport until the night before.
No other lot I called had a space, one even laughed at me on the phone when I asked. I booked with Mission Brewery using the online reservation system. The minute I had parked in their lot the shuttle was ready to take me to my terminal. The driver was even chipper at that hour which was a surprise.
On the return I phoned the lot and they had a driver waiting for me the moment I got out of baggage claim. Again, the driver was friendly and helpful; I found myself feeling like a five dollar tip wasn't enough.
Mission Brewery is great. They took a stressful circumstance and made it as painless as it could possibly be, and for an excellent daily rate at that. I won't hesitate to call on them again the next time I fly out of San Diego airport. |

The shuttle bus drove up right as I parked, helped me with my bags and had me at the terminal in less than 10mins (same with the pick-up).
I would recommend making an on-line reservation, parking spaces were scarce. |

Apparently left on his own "his second" day. Didnt know how to handle the pre-pay interent credit. But was willing to let me teach, aka tell him, what to do.
It was a hectic day as I was coming back for my car the day the watermain broke at the airport entrance and traffic was backed up all the way down harbor drive, rosecrans, PCH almost back to the airport! it was crazy! but yea, feel good about parking there. |

| (February 19, 2010) Went to Mission Brewery Parking last Saturday and got there a bit late. I was parked and in the van on my way to the airport in less than 5 minutes. My driver, ROSIE, was a joy. She was courteous and cheerful, and got me to the airport quickly. I left San Diego facing a tough week, but Rosie put a smile on my face. Upon my return, I called for the shuttle and again, the shuttle came in about 5 minutes and was lucky to have Rosie again as my driver, she was just as cheerful as ever. The only negative comment is I presented a coupon to save some $$, and the gentleman in the booth did not apply coupon which I did not realize until later. Still a good price at $9 a day, easy to get to off the freeway, and an all around positive experience. I would definitely use them again. Don't forget to ask for ROSIE! |

Note: If you're not familiar with the area around the airport, make sure to get the directions. It can be tricky the first time to get to the correct exit for Hancock St. from the 5, since there aren't any signs for the street itself. The lot will be on the right (the street is one-way), and will be visible. |

We had an early flight, had booked a reservation, and our driver was waiting for us at 6AM. It is a bit of a trick to figure out the area so if you don't know it then download their directions.
We would use this lot again based on our experience. |

We were pleased overall with the service- the shuttle driver was very nice and helpful, but I would definitely make sure that next time we fly, we will be TWO HOURS EARLY to the parking area not the one hour they suggest. When we pulled in, the shuttle was full and was leaving. There was no attendant to tell us anything and we ended up waiting 20 minutes, not the 5 minutes that they tell you, in front of our car with all our luggage in the cold for the next shuttle. That shuttle was almost full when we got in and as we left there were other people waiting anxiously for the next shuttle. Don't forget that the driver has to let everyone off at their individual terminals and in our case we were the last ones off the shuttle. We incurred other hassles (not Mission Brewery's fault) but due to our not leaving ourselves enough time. Security took forever. We ended up missing our flight. Our Airline Delta- was great though and we ended up taking a little later flight so all was not lost- Bottom Line give yourself MORE TIME THAN YOU THINK YOU WILL NEED cause everything takes more time then you think it will-Trust Me-I know... |

| (October 4, 2009) This was our first time using Mission Brewery. The shuttle service is excellent. We didn't have to wait a minute each way, as one was readily available. We were given the driver's phone numbers who answer right away. Everyone was personable.
My only gripe is the place is underlit, which makes it hard to find at 5 am, when there is barely any light. It would be nice to have more lighting illuminating the entrance, like other parking garages. The place is sort of off the beaten track, which makes finding it challenging. Fortunately, we have gps.
Other than that, will definitely use service again. |

| (September 30, 2009) Our return was another matter. We called after we landed (no luggage to wait for) and still had a 15 minute wait for the shuttle. No problem, except our driver then went from Terminal 1 (us) to Terminal 2, back to Terminal 1 and back again to Terminal 2 before leaving the airport property, and there was someone else in the van before we got in!
In all, I'd say we spent about 35-40 minutes waiting on or in the van. When I mentioned this to the gate agent, all I got was an "I'm sorry that happened to you" but no offer of a discount or anything like that.
The parking was fine, and the trip to the airport was accomplished with little fuss. Our car was safe the whole time, and the price is the best I've found, but I think I'll pay a dollar more per day next time for a service that has multiple shuttles that come by more frequently.

| Why park anywhere else? |
| (August 12, 2009) After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant to go with this parking garage. I live here in San Diego and the last thing I want after a long trip is to get stuck at the airport waiting for a ride. This did not happen with Mission Brewery.
I have now parked with them twice. On both occasions, every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, the gate guards were helpful with sorting out my internet paperwork. Then, the shuttle driver was in back of my car before I unloaded my bags. Upon my return, someone answered my call by the second ring and the shuttle showed up within 5 minutes of my reaching the shuttle stop.
I have gotten good traveling advice from the drivers and everyone on the staff always greets me with a smile. I have trips planned every month for the rest of the year and I will keep parking at Mission Brewery.
And, using the online reservation has saved me a few dollars here and there that I can use on my trip. |
