Once we got to the parking office I paid then we had to wait a good fifteen mins for the car. Just for future once the shuttle driver calls in then you guys on that end need to have the car ready to go. If payment is made by credit card then have the account pulled up automatically to cut down waiting. A suggestion- If you park at Dollar then why not rent from Dollar at the airport destination and get a discount for being a loyal customer.

I wouldn't want to be on a tight schedule, but for the price and convenience I'll park there again if I fly out of La Guardia. |

The girl at check in was rude. I then waited 15 minutes for my car to be brought down. It didn't come. I went back to the office to check and no one was there. I finally found someone who checked to see if the order had been placed. He said it would arrive shortly. Another 15 minutes and it arrived. I couldn't leave though because the exit was blocked by cones and no one was around. Finally someone came but he had to check the rental cars that were leaving and there was no way for me to pass. a full hour after arriving I was able to leave. So much for efficient valet parking!!! |

When we went out to get the car there was another 20min wait. So from pickup at the airport to drive out was 45minutes, about 40 minutes too long. They have a lot of work to do. Why wasn't the car down waiting for us? There was also a lot of workers standing around doing the "union" thing...you know, I don't do her job otherwise she might think I am trying to take her job and I'll get in trouble with the union rep... |

Had to wait for the car to be pulled from the parking area, notwithstanding that the driver called in our number. The car should have been waiting. | (September 8, 2009) Beware!!! You must take the time for them to inspect and fill out a form and give you a copy upon arrival to the lot. There is a sign saying as much on the wall among other signs but I was in a hurry and didn't see it on the wall, I don't think they want you to. Someone walked around my car inspecting it but gave me no paper so they are tricky! This inspection is by request only and you MUST get a copy of the form! There is a dent in the side of my car and the manager was incredibly rude and told me that with out that form from inspection they were not legally responsible and he accused me of lying about the dent. The car is a lease and i had just had all of the dings and stuff fixed because i return it soon, so I know it was not there before! most expensive parking of my life!! |

We had our Ford Edge (small SUV) parked there during our week long vacation only to return to find the front bumber/grill damaged. It looked they had scrapped it along a brick/stone wall when parking or retrieving it. We noticed it as soon as they brought it down to us, reported it....waited....to have a manager return to say we can take pictures and "file a report" but we don't take any responsiblity for what happens to your car while parked here. WHAT?!?! Do not use them. This is awful customer service. We dropped our car off looking one way, and had it returend another. |

The van on the return did not pick us up due to police activity blocking the departure area. I had to get a cab to drive the several blocks. To their credit, the person at the desk credited me the cost of the cab. |

| (August 26, 2009) I HATE having to fly out of LGA. Flights are always delayed, the airport is laid out funny, and there is NEVER any parking. This was my first time using Dollar Rent A Car Parking and it was best experience I could have ever had.
Dropping off was smooth - and coming home was even smoother.
My flight touched the ground at 5:22pm and I was in my car with my bags and on the road but 5:47pm. I realize that a decent amount of that time i also owe to some miracle express luggage handling on the part of my flight, and I know that the Dollar shuttle van will not always be right outside the instant I walk out - but wow, the stars aligned and it all worked so well.
Plus, the parking lot is SO CLOSE! The shuttle was less than 5 min and in that time they managed to pull my car up front (which was shocking). I paid, hopped in and left.
I would park there again, every single time.

| (August 25, 2009) This is the first time I used a parking setvice at LaGuadia, and I was very pleased with the efficiency of the operation from drop-off to shuttle, to shuttle to pick-up. The wait time was minimial. My car was ready and in great condition when I picked it up. It was easier to use the service then to self park - I was dropped off and picked up at curb side. The only suggestion I would make would be to have a direct phone number to the dispatcher when being picked up at the airport instead of a selection menu. Overall great operation. Thanks! |

| (August 19, 2009) The price is the cheapest, but I guess you get what you pay for. Dropping the car off was fine. Got right on the shuttle and over to the airport in record time. On the way back, however, it was not so easy. I called the Dollar parking when we got our baggage, and we proceeded to wait for an hour for the shuttle to show up. 5 phone calls later, a very grumpy driver showed up and got us to the parking lot. Thankfully, the guy behind the counter gave us a bit of a discount for our trouble. It was particularly a drag as we had two very tired young children with us. Probably won't park here again.

On both instances we waited fifteen to twenty minutes after paying our fee for an attendant to bring us our car. If this probrlm is eliminated your rating would be five star. On a positive note our car was kept in beautiful shape and 100% safe. The price is very reasonable as compared to your competitors. |

| (July 31, 2009) Our arrival at your facility on July 18th went fine as we pulled up to your staging area, removed our bags and completed the required paperwork in your office.
After a breif wait , we were taken to the airport for our flight.
The problem occurred on our return on July 28 at approximately 4:45 pm. I had to call your office for times
over a fourtyfive minute time frame for a shuttle to pick us up to bring us to your lot.
each time I was told they were on their way and continued to see Hertz, Avis, Budget, Enterprize and may other shuttles continuously go by the American Airlines pick-up point but not one of yours.
When one finally showed up the driver went right by even though he saw us by indicsating he would be right back.
Another shuttle finally showed up and was so full I had to stand in the aisle, which I would think is a safety violation, for the return trip to your lot.
We have used your parking service in the past but will definately look into other options for our next trip.

At the end of the day, my car wasn't damaged, so I appreciate it. In another world I guess I'd be really annoyed with some of the above, but we've come to expect less and less haven't we.
Will I go back? I don't know. I will need to leave my car nearby, but will probably pay more and hope for better service. |
