You pulled in, walked inside and gave them your info. They parked the car for you and brought you the car when you came back. The bus ran very timely. At the end of the day, my car wasn't damaged, so I appreciate it. In another world I guess I'd be really annoyed with some of the above, but we've come to expect less and less haven't we.
Will I go back? I don't know. I will need to leave my car nearby, but will probably pay more and hope for better service. |

| (July 1, 2009) Everything went ok. I dropped off my car and got it back. However, things were VERY slow. The counter inside is a mess (hard to get somebody's attention; the parking person is off in the back doing god knows what). Nobody is in a rush to do anything. I called when I landed to ask for my car, and when I got to the parking lot (20+ minutes later) it still wasn't there. I waited another 25 minutes after I already arrived at the lot to have someone get it for me. 25 minutes! So 45 minutes total. That's just not acceptable. |

| (July 1, 2009) I only rated this experience with 3-stars because we waited an inordinant amount of time for the delivery of our car. We liked the rate, the drop-off process, the shuttle service to and from LaGuardia Airport, but, if my memory serves me correctly, we waited almost 30 minutes for our car to be delivered. In addition, we did not receive any progress updates while we waited for our car. Honestly, visions of the parking scene from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" began running through my head, although we were only waiting for a 1999 Ford Explorer, not a vintage Ferrari! I do not understand what took so long because the driver did alert someone that we were on the shuttle, so I would have expected the delivery process to start then. I suggest the management improve their communication process, especially if the car will take a long time to deliver. Thanks! |

| My car was damaged at your parking garage |
| (June 30, 2009) Dear Dollar Rent A Car,
I've been using your service for the past months that I've had to flight out of La Guardia but unfortunately this weekend my car was damaged at your parking lot and I only noticed it when I came home on Sunday night.
As soon as I parked the car and my husband came out to receive me, we noticed that the round corner of the front bumper was crashed and the bumber is loose. Probabbly it was hit with a wall or post when making a turn or parking it.
I did not call Dollar Rent a car since I thought you would probably not make yourselve responsible since I did not check my car at the time of leaving the parking lot.
The sad part is that my car was in good shape when I brought it in on Saturday morning and when I came home on Sunday night the bumper had been damaged.
For this reason you would understand that my review cannot be good for you parking company.

Another person called themselves on the phone, and his car was up front before mine. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my vehicle back, as the workers kept brining up the wrong vehicles...they brought up 2 wrong cars before getting mine. I am from NY and the sense you get is "typical new york". Nothing is easy, you cannot just turn your car in to a guy in the parking lot who is nice and gives you your receipt immediately.
That being said, this lot is VERY close to LaGuardia. Drop off was easy and my experience picking up my car may have been an outlier since they appeared short handed. |

Pick up was disastrous. I called at 11:35pm for a pick up. Telephone answering service was slightly confusing as there was no prompt for pick up. When the call was answered I was told that van is on its way. Because of that instruction, I waited outside and waited and waited. I called again at 11:50 and was again told the van was on its way (Note: Delta is the first stop), I waited outside again. I called a third time at 11:58 and was again told the van was on its way. It arrived at 12:08. This is too long. At least I could have been told the first time to wait inside because the van would be there in 30 minutes. It was cold outside that night. When the van arrived the driver told us that he was the only driver on at that time. I can understand but better instructions would have ameliorated the wait. When I arrived at the office all was taken care of expeditiously. |

I think someone should revisit their policy and procedure to retrain employees to speak and understand the ENGLISH language.

| (April 30, 2009) The lot was super easy to find-right off the Grand Central, the staff was friendly and efficient, took the car, processed our drop off, gave us return instructions and a ticket, and got us on a shuttle within 5 minutes. Another 5 minutes on the shuttle and we were at our gate.
On the return, we were picked up within 15 minutes of calling the lot, it took 5 minutes to pay, and our car was waiting outside the office before we finished signing the receipt.
Great experience, great price, couldnt be happier. |

| (April 30, 2009) While my car was physically fine on arrival when picking it up, an unfortunate incident occurred.
Two van/shuttle drivers became involved in a fight directly in front of us and two other customers in the other shuttle. This was over who was supposed to pick us up. Ridiculous! This behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. My wife and I provided a statement to the night manager who was very apologetic and professional. He should be commended on how he handled the situation. Regardless my wife and I did not need this having just returned from a last minute flight due to a family emergency. This totally added to our stress.
We'll think hard before using Dollar in the future. |

my best advice is the shuttle should be more frequent.

The shuttle drivers and the staff are fabulous! We returned and called for the shuttle and it was there in 5 min and then our car was already waiting for us! really amazing! the parking is covered and the car was totally fine. this operation is great!! thanks dollar and thank you to your wonderful and warm shuttle drivers!! | (April 21, 2009) Our group of 7 arrived at 5:15 AM for a flight from LGA at 6:30 AM. I had made a reservation on-line so the check in took two minutes. The shuttle bus was waiting with it's doors open to take us to the airport while I checked in. The trip to NWA took less than 5 minutes.
On the return, I called the phone number on the claim ticket when we arrived at the baggage claim area and waited no more than 10 minutes for the shuttle bus to pick us up and take us back to the parking garage. I was able to get checked out and on the road in less than 15 minutes. I would definitely use the Dollar Rent A Car Airport parking again and would recommend it to anyone needing a park and fly service. |

However, on the way back, we had to wait in line several minutes to pay, and then several more minutes for the man to get us our car. In total, I think we spend at least 20 minutes getting our car once we arrived to the car rental area. We also waited about 10 minutes for the shuttle itself...

| (April 13, 2009) I will definitely will use dollar rent a car parking service next time would recommend to anyone. Just allow 20-30 minutes extra time for shuttle ride/check-in time. |

| OK Parking Experience |
| (April 13, 2009) We had a relatively positive experience. Check-in was easy and took very little time. Had to wait a bit for the shuttle, but once it came the driver was very pleasant and got us to our destination quickly.
When we returned, we had to wait a long time for the shuttle after calling. At least 4 buses from each of the other national chains drove past before we decided to call again. After that call, the bus arrived within 5 minutes. The driver, again, was very pleasant and helpful.
After we got to the parking garage, we waited 5-10 minutes for our car. Aside from that, we got on our way simply enough. Staff were pleasant and helpful. |

| (April 13, 2009) I found a foot long scratch on the bottom of my car resulting in paint chipped off my car. I wished I had checked the car before I left the garage. |

| (April 13, 2009) I had an excellent experience with Dollar Rent A Car airport parking. The service was fast and courteous. I had no wait time getting to the airport. When I returned from my trip, a shuttle arrived as I stepped out of the airport. The shuttle quickly brought me to the garage where my car was ready for me. |
