| (June 23, 2010) I was lucky to make a "one hour before I fly out" reservation. Upon arrival, the Dollar Rent A Car employee was friendly (keep in mind it was 5am) and extremely helpful. She even pointed out a discount that I was entitled to. The price was easily 40% less than airport parking. Each way (arriving and leaving) took less than 10 minutes...and that includes the free shuttle to the airport. My car was returned in excellent condition, even though I foolishly left over $2000 worth of computer equipment in my car. Overall, I highly recommend this service. Professional, safe, friendly, and fast. |

On my return they took 25 mins to pick me up (the driver said they were short on drivers). In the past, my car was washed and waiting. No car wash this time, my car was full of 8 days of outdoor grime. |

But the attendant on duty just told me to leave the car and did not give me a token of any sort nor did he ask me when I intended to pick up the car.
When I went to pickup the car two days later , I had to wait for almost 15 minutes to get my car and I am guessing it was because it was all the way in the back somewhere because they had not asked me before hand when I would be returning.
So make sure you get a token and also let them know when you will be planning to pick it up. This will definitely speed up your pick up process

The only problem was on the ariportpick-up on my return. I waited curbside while two buses passed by without slowing or stopping. Admittedly the curb was busy with buses and other courtesy vans, but the two vans stayed in the far outside lane and the driver's did not slow down to check for people waving them down.

Return to Dollar, upon to pick up our car was less pleasant: the clerk at the Parking counter was not immediately available, but her colleague at the rental counter was surly and unhelpful. She ordered a whole group of clients to stay away from her counter, and then it took her ten minutes to pick up her phone and page the Parking clerk (who responded immediately).
About 6 or 7 newly-arrived clients, tired from long flights, had to wait an extra 10 minutes for no other reason than that she was able to make us wait!

On arriving back into NY, I called the rental facility as per instructions. When I got to the baggage claim area, the shuttle was waiting for me, and my car was waiting for me when I arrived at the Dollar facility.
The price was as agreed-upon.

Compared to another nearby facility I found your program to be relatively good with only two challenges.
Drop off took too long as I had to wait on a line to check in even though I had made an "on line" reservation and paid the deposit. This system requires allowing additional time prior to flight time.
When picking up it was off peak so there was no line but I had to wait for the car to be delivered even though I called ahead from the airport.
Streamlining both of these processes would be benificial.
On the positive side, The staff was very courteous especially the shuttle drivers and pick up upon arivial at the airport was prompt.

We live over two (2) hours away from NYC but if we ever fly out of LGA again we will definitely be using Dollar Rent-Cars Airport Parking garage as well as recommending them to friends and relatives. |

| (May 5, 2010) The Res Agent was helpful when I called on the way, giving me the precise directions. The 'paperwork' in leaving the car was done promptly and efficiently. The wait for the van to the airport was about five or six minutes.
Upon my return, I called Dollar from inside the terminal. When I came outside, I could already see the van coming.
Retrieving my car was once again prompt, efficient and courtiously done. After completing the process at the counter, my wait for my car was about two minutes.
In summary, I found Dollar to be efficient and courtious. Based upon this experience, I would recommend them. |

| (April 28, 2010) This was the first time I tried parking at Dollar rental car parking. I live in Brooklyn, and a R/T cab would hae cost me about $110-$120 with tips. This was $90.00, and I was able to just shuttle over, pick up my car, and go straight to work.
The service was very good-the shuttles came right away, and it was very organized. I will definitely do use them again! |

I waited a few minutes for an attendant and was then advised to go into the office. The person behind the desk was pleasant took my information and told me to wait outside for the shuttle. It arrived promptly and dropped me off at the terminal. On my return, I called the number on the ticket for pick up. Shuttle arrived took me back to the lot and my car was brought down. the whole process took maybe 45 minutes. Driver could have been a bit friendlier when he brought the car offering a greeting. When I arrived there was someone in the garage to tell me that I needed to leave my keys in the car with the window down. I waited in a short line to check in and as I was doing that my family was loading onto the van to head over to the airport. One thing I wish I knew about before hand is they will do a walk around your car and take photos so if there is any damage they will be responsible. When I returned I simply called over to dollar and they sent a van within 10 minutes and we waited on the curb with our luggage. When we got back to the garage my car was waiting right out front. No damages, nothing missing. Overall I was very satisfied. |
