| (January 5, 2012) We normally use a different parking lot company, but it-along with most others-was completely booked by the time we got around to scheduling our vacation parking arrangements. Aladdin was the only lot we found that had vacancies, so we booked.
The process was very easy, as was access to the lot from the freeway (same exit as airport) and when we arrived we were very impressed with the facility. It was clean, and appeared to be safely patrolled. The gentleman who guided us to self parking graciously came by the car in a golf cart as soon as we parked and offered to drive our luggage up to meet us at the waiting area for the shuttle. He was super friendly, made us feel very comfortable, and saved us the trouble of dragging the luggage up to the shuttle area. Thank you Sir!
The shuttle arrived in less than 5 minutes, and the driver was a very nice woman who helped load all the luggage quckly and efficiently while people got on board. The shuttle is very nice and clean (a bus rather than a van) and airconditioned! The drive to the airport from Aladdin is MUCH SHORTER than the other lot we usually use and when we arrived back from our vacation the shuttle driver picked us up within 10 minutes. We were the only ones on board, but rather than park and make us wait for other passengers, as one would normally expect, she instead picked us up and promptly brought us back to the parking structure. She was friendly and courteous during our commute back.
We were VERY impressed with the service and the cost was very reasonable. We will DEFINITELY be using Aladdin again and will gladly recommend it to our friends and family!

| (November 28, 2011) From my online reservation I had chosen "uncovered" parking but could find no one to assist me at 6:30 am so I drove up to the top and then was confused about how to enter the gated area so I drove back down to the entrance and finally found someone who told me how to get to the roof level.
My ten year old twins and I had to drag our suitcases down a flight of stairs to reach the shuttle area and then back up those stairs when we returned.
Upon leaving I realized that I had to go to the original level to "redeem" my pre-paid coupon. Then I found out that I had reserved a covered space the whole time.
Recommended easier way to use the facility.
Nice man at valet helped me finally when we were leaving.
Shuttle was right there when we needed to leave.

| (June 8, 2010) Aladdin does a good job in providing parking and shuttle service to the airport. A couple of minor issues keep my rating slightly below the best.
First, when I arrived I had significanbt difficulty finding a space in the covered area I had reserved. I would suggest that Aladdin consider setting aside specific close by reserved space as a perk for those making reservations. This would encourage reservations and avoid overselling the lot.
Second, it wasn't clear where the shuttle would stop for pick up at the airport. Another customer said he was waiting 20 minutes for a bus and I suspect he just didn'y know where to go.
Otherwise a great parking solution!

The pricing is not the lowest or highest. Also, the covered/uncovered parking was a nice option as well as the shuttle to both venues (airport and cruise ship). There was minimal waiting for the shuttle on departure or arrival (5 minutes or less). Using this service again is a no-brainer. Thanks for the excellent service. |

| (December 29, 2009) I made parking reservations for the holiday because parking lots frequently fill up around Christmas. When I arrived at Aladdin, I was instructed to park on the roof. When I got to the roof, there was no attendent, the lot was full with most cars being double parked. I drove around a lot for a couple of minutes, an attendent finally came who instructed me to double park near the southeast corner which I did. He then took my key and gave me a card to use to get my car back when I returned. I then had to haul my luggage down one flight of stairs to the elevator and took the elevator to the shuttle area. The $12 rate is pretty high in comparison to other lots which were charging $9 and $10 for outdoor parking. Picking up my car was easier. After the shuttle dropped us off, I was driven up to the roof with my luggage to retrieve my car. Everyone at Aladdin was very friendly.
I would not recommend Aladdin because you pay a premium price for average, but acceptable service. |

There is an automated machine on the ground floor (confusingly called the third floor) but not easily found. It faces away from the entrance. It isn't clear where you're supposed to park and whether you need to do any paperwork on arrival. You need to keep asking people- and they are helpful - but the process should be clearer
Also, I had booked ahead and when, on leaving, I put my ticket into the machine, it asked for more money than my booking said I should pay. Easily sorted out with the staff there but not necessary.
It was also not clear that the $2 per day discount coupon available on the Aladdin site can't be used in addition to the reduced rate offered on this site. |

When we arrived at Aladdin parking we quickly found a spot and were on the shuttle (which comes every 5 minutes!) within minutes! I was lucky to cough up the 36.00 in cash after traveling. The next customer was irate. His bill was 56.00. There was no ATM in sight. In my experience, the manager should have pulled out the old credit card slider and taken an imprint of the credit card. He made me and the other customer feel like it was our problem. The crew on duty seemed disorganized, a lot of yelling going on. There were no clear signs on who and where to pay. I would have given more stars if the supervisor knew what to do. | (October 20, 2009) Since I moved to San Diego 9 years ago, I have taken the shuttle to the airport, which meant being there over two hours in advance and waiting an extra hour on the other end to be home.
Recently, SuperShuttle told me that I can no longer walk across the street to the Marriott, but must pay an additional $25 to be picked up on my side of the street on the other side of the apartment complex where I live.
My cost for parking with Aladdin for four days was less than the shuttle would have cost, and allowed me to leave on my own time, be at the airport just under an hour before my flight, and have my car immediately available to me when I returned.
Aladdin has shuttles every ten minutes to/from the garage, which is about two blocks from the airport. There is covered parking available, and a well-lit garage. I was especially impressed when, after a very long travel day, the shuttle driver lifted everyone's bags into/out of the bus!

| (May 28, 2009) great experience with aladdin parking. the garage felt very safe, the staff was very friendly, and when I got back to san diego airport the shuttle arrived within minutes. |
