| Long wait at the Airport, Unable to find my confirmation. |
| (October 6, 2009) I found out about AviStar while surfing the web for airport parking discounts. AviStar looked appealing and the website was easy to use. I pre-paid for my parking as this was the best deal but I was unable to print my confirmation as I was using my laptop and enroute to the facility. I called ahead and informed the front desk, they asked for my number, which I repeated to them and they understood. Upon my arrival a company representative came outside with my claim ticket in hand. I unloaded my vehicle and the driver took my bags and drove me to the airport. The problem occurred upon my return to the Cleveland Hopkins Airport. I called Avistar and gave them notice that I had arrived at the airport and was waiting for a shuttle back to their facility to pick-up my vehicle. I waited over twenty minutes with my luggage outside before the shuttle arrived. They advertise that a shuttle arrives every seven to ten minutes. When I went inside the office to get my reciept, the company representative stated that I owed money for parking, I explained that I had pre-paid over the web and had called ahead with my confirmation number. They had no record of this payment and expected me to pay again which I promptly refused to do. The representative called her manager over the phone who again requested that I pay for parking to get my vehicle keys, which I again refused to do as it should had been a record in their system that I had paid. This went on for an hour, I provided them a copy of my drivers license and additional contact information. This was not enough for them to give me my keys. I called the Police to respond to the facility. Within five minutes of the Police arrival I was handed my keys. What a way to end a vacation after traveling over 2000 miles. Find another Airport Parking Lot. I would not recommend this lot to anyone. |

| (October 27, 2008) We were used to parking at the 'other' lots, but found this great deal on the web. Even though the self park lot was full, I was offered valet parking at the self park cost! The entire staff was pleasant and courteous. On our return arrival at the parking lot, our car was in front of the office with the trunk lid open ready to load the luggage. Bill preparation was quick and easy. $5.95 a day plus the service just can't be beat. We recommend that anyone who is looking to park close to the airport with excellent service to give these guys the business. |

(August 4, 2007) My husband and I have travelled many places and airport parking is normally an annoyance until we started parking at AviStar. The service is great. The staff at the counter gave us great service and the bus driver was very helpful, pulling right up to the car making our return home easier. We never had to wait! And, of course their prices are excellent.
Pros: Service, price. Easy accessible from I-480.
Cons: Parking is outdoors (consider snow, inclement weather in the winter). |
