Now I have to send a check into credit card company for $2.69.
Why not just obtain card # to hold spot and when you return from trip decide whether you want to put it all on card or pay cash. |

| (July 7, 2010) When I dropped off my car, everything went great. I parked my car, stepped on a shuttle and was off to the airport in about 5 min. Problem was when I got back from my trip. The first shuttle I saw was full, so I had to wait. Next shuttle didn't come around for about 10 min and I was the last person to fit on that one, so I barely made it. And there were at least 4 other people/groups at 2 other stops that couldn't get on because the shuttle was full. I'm not sure why it took so long because when we got back to the lot, I saw at least 2 other shuttles just sitting there. I wasn't in that big of a rush, so I didn't mind waiting for the 2nd shuttle, but would have started getting ticked off if I would have had to wait for a 3rd one. I'll definitely consider using them again, but can't say for sure either way right now. |

| (July 6, 2010) Thrifty was rated the best and I see why. Easy to find and once we parked, one of the shuttle drivers was already waiting for us and putting our bags in the van. He was very nice and cordial and started our trip off nicely.
When we came back (with 2 young children, booster seats, etc), the older driver was disgruntled and not courteous at all. We got from point a to point b pretty fast, but he was a perfect example of people that don't get tips. He did not even help with the bags.

| (June 13, 2010) I used Thrifty because of its location and the online discount. At the time I didnt understand that the billing was based on hours, I came in earlier than I had booked and left later so the charges wound up being more than what I anticipated. When I looked at the receipt and went to ask the female attendant why it was different, before I said a word she came at me in a rather aggressive manner and in a hard tone told me why it was more. When she saw that I was not upset she quickly smiled and tried to blow the potential confrontation off with a quick smile. I recommend that in the future the attendants there simply explain the situation, with a smile, before they hand the receipt to the customer so that the customer is not surprised. In other words the slight lack of customer service on the part of the attendant left me wondering if I would use thrifty again. The fact that it is close to the airport and the car was undamaged upon my return are pluses however that is why I gave them at least 3 stars. |

Pickup at the airport also quick. Only thing that wasn't perfect was the checkout leaving the lot. The woman was impersonal (eating or chewing something and didn't engage). This was the first time I have used Thrifty and I had booked on line with a discounted rate. She rang through the street rate automatically instead of asking me if I had any discounts. I didn't realize that she wouldn't have had that info from my computer booking. She corrected it without a problem but I didn't get half a smile out of her until I said "Have a nice day" to her as I left. Perhaps she was just having a bad day. She did her job, she wasn't rude, just not friendly. It turned the overall experience into a 4 from what was a 5. As you know, your last impression carries a lot of weight. Your customer service was highly rated on internet comments. I will definitely use Thrifty airport parking again, but hope that I will be able to rate all my interactions at a 5 next time. |

The lot was nearly full, but there were 2 blue and white Thrifty vans trolling the parking lot for customers, and followed me to my parking spot. Driver was courteous and helpful. At the end of my trip, I collected luggage, and went to the courtesy van pick up area. I missed one Thrifty van by just 30 seconds, but another came along in less than 5 minutes. When I first pulled into your lot, one of your shuttles pulled in right behind me. However, when I parked my car there was no shuttle in sight. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes, I carried my 2 pieces of luggage toward the main gate and flagged down a shuttle. The driver of this shuttle was apologetic but did not have a good explanation why I never saw anyone.
While waiting at my car I had tried to phone someone in the office or the cashiers booth but there was never an option to talk with a live person. There should be some way to reach someone by if needed while on the premises.
The shuttle driver on my return was very courteous.

The driver got my bag out of the car and in the van without having to be asked. Quick trip to the airport where driver volunteered info to get me to where I needed to be. Returning to my car the shuttle/van was there within in 5 minutes, again a courteous driver. | (May 6, 2010) Pre-paying is the way to go. However, they should post instructions ahead of time. Something like this:
1) Pre-pay online.
2) Print your confirmation/reservation; bring it with you.
3) Drive to Thrifty, pull in to the Airport parking, take a parking ticket from the unattended dispenser, pull through gate, then self-park.
4) Lock your car up and take your keys with you.
5) Get on a shuttle bus to the airport.
Upon your return
6) Take shuttle from SeaTac to Thrifty parking
7) Tell the driver you used Thrifty for parking (not car rental). They will drive you to your car.
8) Drive your car to the exit booth. (This is where that print-out of the registration is important)
9) Present the paper. |

| (May 5, 2010) We parked our vehicle at Thrifty's Airport Parking for 11 days. It was in a secured parking area. The shuttle bus was very prompt taking us to and picking us up from the Airport. The only negative comment is the shuttle driver who picked us up at the airport never got out of his seat to assist anyone with their luggage, which is unusual. The price was reasonable. We use to use hotel Stay and Fly arrangements which were fine until the time someone unsuccessfully tried to steal our car from the hotel's parking lot (unsecured). Lastly, we live in British Columbia - when we crossed the border going home, the Border guard asked if our car was in a secured area while we were gone? Was it in an area that prevented anyone from tampering with it? It felt good to say yes it was secured. We wouldn't hesitate to use Thrifty's Airport Parking again. |

Aboutairportparking made it very easy to book the reservation and upon departing the lot I just handed them the print off and they took care of the rest. The quote was exact to what I owed when leaving and the whole process was very easy. The lot was very nice, across from the airport, and as soon as I parked the van was right there to get me and took me to the airport shortly there after picking up a few more people. Then when I returned to the airport I waited for maybe 5 minutes or so and then the van picked up 3 others and then we were off to the lot. I was dropped off first since I was the first on the van. GREAT!! Thrifty was great, I will definitely use this lot again!! |
