GETTING TO DALLAS LOVE FIELD:
Dallas Love Field (DAL) is located seven miles from downtown Dallas. While most travelers to the metropolitan area rely on Dallas Fort Worth International Airport for their air travel needs, DAL has carved out a niche for those passengers wanting a smaller airport and access to Southwest Airlines. As the primary airline at DAL, Southwest Airlines has a strong presence at Love Field, with its corporate headquarters located onsite.
DAL is located at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Herb Kelleher Way, boasting easy access from I-35, the Dallas North Tollway, and the US-75 Central Expressway. A taxi ride from downtown Dallas will run passengers approximately $20. DAL also allows rideshares to service the premises, providing even less expensive ground transportation options. City Shuttle, Super Shuttle, and Yellow Checker Shuttle are the preferred shuttle service providers to and from DAL.
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s (DART) Love Link 524 bus directly serves the airport terminal. Travelers can ride this bus route to nearby Inwood/Love Field Station to access the green and orange light rail lines. From this station, travelers can transfer to and from various points in the metro area, including downtown Dallas, DFW airport, and many suburban locations.
PARKING AT DALLAS LOVE FIELD:
Dallas Love Field parking is easy to understand and utilize. The coveted valet parking service can be found on the south end of the ticketing wing. The daily parking rate for this premium service is $26. DFW parking also features three onsite garages with spots in a variety of price points. As the closest garage to the terminal, Garage A costs $15 per day for all levels. The slightly farther Garage B offers rates of $9 per day for the covered spots and $7 per day for the uncovered stalls.
Also adjacent to the terminal, Garage C features covered parking for $15 per day, uncovered roof stalls for $13 per day, and third-level premium spots for $25 per day. The convenient Skybridge connects Garages A and B to the terminal from the third level of the parking facility. Because it bypasses the ticketing area of the terminal, the Garage C Skybridge is perfect for passengers who already have a boarding pass and do not need to check luggage.
All three of the onsite garages offer complimentary parking for the first 30 minutes of your stay.
