Travelers that are wishing to take the bus can utilize the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) bus route 261 (FAST Michigan). This limited-stop bus service services both the McNamara Terminal and the North Terminal to downtown Detroit at the Rosa Parks Transit Center. A one-way ticket costs $2 and the service leaves approximately once every 30 minutes. For longer distances, the Michigan Flyer connects DTW with Ann Arbor, Jackson, and East Lansing.
