As the primary commercial airport for Southwest Florida, RSW serves the cities of Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Punta Gorda, and more. The airport provides service to almost 50 destinations, including Canada and Germany.

RSW is conveniently located about three miles east of I-75. Recent infrastructure upgrades have linked the road serving the main terminal road to the northbound and southbound lanes of I-75, making it easier than ever to reach the airport.

LeeTran Bus Route 50 serves RSW. This route connects passengers with a transfer point located at Daniels Parkway and US 41. From here, passengers can connect with additional LeeTran routes to access most of Southwest Florida.

Those travelers wishing to use a taxi service to get to RSW can choose from a variety of providers. However, MBA Airport Transportation, LLC is the official provider of taxi service when traveling from the airport. It is also possible to utilize the convenience of a ride share service for your RSW ground transportation needs.


Parking at Southwest Florida International Airport is easy if you have done your research prior to your arrival. RSW parking features both short-term and long-term parking options. The Short-Term Parking Lot is located within walking distance of the terminal. Each hour is $3 with a daily maximum of $18. The first level of this garage is reserved for rental car usage. The second level provides covered parking for the public and the top level is an open-air lot.

The Long-Term Parking Lot is located behind the garage and provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the terminal building. The daily maximum rate for this lot is $11 with a weekly rate of $60. If you are leaving your vehicle for more than one week, the daily rate drops to $4 after the first seven days of use.

Southwest Florida International Airport features one terminal divided into three concourses. Concourse B is home to Gates B1-B9, Concourse C houses Gates C1-C9, and Gates D1-D10 are located in Concourse D. Passengers traveling with pets will appreciate the designated Animal Relief Areas, located on the lower level at each end of the terminal building. A baby care room is available for nursing mothers and for convenient and comfortable diaper-changing. This center is located in the main terminal building in close proximity to the airline counters.

A prominent beach theme is featured in many of the airport's retail offerings. You will enjoy browsing stores such as A Day at the Beach, The Shell Factory, Sanibel Marketplace, and Beaches Travelmart. If you are looking for a bite to eat with a local flair, you would be wise to consider options such as Shula's Bar & Grill and Beaches Boardwalk Cafe. Other options include Great American Bagel, Dewar's Clubhouse, Sbarro, Starbucks, Jose Cuervo Tequileria, Nathan's, and more.

Art in Flight is a program that brings the works of local artists to the public spaces of RSW. This program is a partnership between the Lee County Alliance for the Arts and Lee County Port Authority.
