Gerald R. Ford International Airport is a two-level passenger terminal with two concourses. Concourse A is home to seven gates while Concourse B has eight gates. The small but modern airport offers a host of conveniences and services for a facility of its size. Allegiant Air and Delta Airlines operate the gates in Concourse A while American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Frontier Airlines use Concourse B. All of the 15 gates boast climate-controlled jetways to help to mitigate the harsh Michigan winters.
In the fall of 2017, GRR proudly unveiled a 59,000-square-addition to the passenger terminal. This addition features a consolidated security screening checkpoint, new and improved business centers and lounges, and the Marketplace area featuring new retail and food options.
