Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) is the principal airport for the city of Las Vegas, Nevada and surrounding areas in Clark County. Located about five miles from the central business district in Paradise, Nevada, McCarran Airport saw over 39 million passengers in 2010 pass through its gates. McCarran Airport is conveniently located by the I-215 and I-15. To get to LAS airport, exit off I-215 and follow signs for McCarran. If you need public transportation, the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) offers routes from the airport to downtown Las Vegas and other parts of the city. Shuttles, limos and taxis are also available.
While major airlines such as America, Alaska, Virgin America, US Airways, United, Delta, Frontier, AirTran, JetBlue and all fly out of Las Vegas McCarran, the airport is specifically a focus city for Southwest Airlines and Allegiant Air.
