Louisville International Airport (SDF) is the principal airport for the city of Louisville, Kentucky, as well as surrounding areas in Kentucky such as Lexington and nearby states like Ohio, Indiana, Missouri and Tennessee. Despite being located in the state’s largest city, it’s the second busiest in Kentucky, following Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Boone County. Only 10 minutes from downtown Louisville, SDF airport is easily accessible at the intersection of I-65 and I-264. From Nashville or Lexington, take I-65 North or I-64 West to I-264 West and follow signs for the airport.
