1. How far from the Philadelphia International Airport is Smart Park located and when should I arrive at the parking facility?

Smart Park is located three miles from the Philadelphia International Airport.  We request arrival at Smart Park 10-15 minutes before you are required to arrive at the airport for your flight.  When traveling on a Domestic Flight the Airlines request arrival at the airport two hours before your scheduled Departure Time.   For International Flights the Airlines request arrival at the airport three hours before scheduled Departure Time.  Generally speaking, Smart Park's shuttle should be able to get you to the airport in under 10 minutes.  (It is advisable to check with your airline for specific times, special arrangements and/or last minute rescheduling issues).

2. How often does Smart Park shuttle vans run to/from the airport?

Smart Park shuttles run on demand!  When you pull onto our parking facility, park your vehicle, our staff assists you with your luggage and we will have a shuttle van ready and waiting to whisk you up to the airport! When you arrive back into Philadelphia we have courtesy telephones located in each of the Baggage Claim Areas for your convenience.

3. What should I do when I arrive back into the Philadelphia International Airport trip?  How do I get back to my vehicle at Smart Park?

It's easy!  Proceed to the Baggage Claim Area.  PLEASE RETRIEVE YOUR LUGGAGE FIRST!  Next, call the dispatcher directly at 610-521-8485 or 610-521-8664.  Our Dispatcher will welcome you home and proceed to ask your name, what airport terminal you are calling from (Terminal A to F), how many people are in your party, and if you have all your luggage in your posession.  Our Dispatcher will then direct you outside of the baggage claim area to Zone 3, where one of our shuttles will pick you up promptly.  The "Parking Card" you were given upon boarding the shuttle for your trip to the airport, will inform you which section of our Smart Park Lot your vehicle is located; the shuttle driver will return you to your car and assist with your luggage.

4. How long will I have to wait for a pick-up by a Smart Park shuttle van?

No time at all!  Smart Park's pick-up time is typically 5 - 10 Minutes after receiving your telephone call.

5. What are Smart Park's hours of operation?

Smart Park Airport Parking is open 24/7, 365 days a year, rain or shine!

6. What services does Smart Park offer?  How do I schedule them?

Smart Park offers Self-Parking and Valet Parking Services.  Car Care Service includes automobile detailing and light automobile repairs from off-site vendors.  Valet Parking and Car Care Services and any other add-ons are priced separately and in addition to the daily parking fee.  Please note: All Car Care Services are to be requested at check-in in the Valet Department and cannot be scheduled in advance.  Please give yourself 5 additional minutes to speak with a supervisor when scheduling light automotive repairs.

7. How safe is Smart Park's facility?

Smart Park is located in Essington, Pennsylvania, a residential area and a suburb of Philadelphia.  Smart Park's facility is nestled in the middle of the Tinicum Township Wildlife Preserve in Delaware County, yet only minutes from the Philadelphia Airport.  We are monitored by the Tinicum Township Police Department.  The Tinicum Township Police Department, Firehouse and Municipal Building were recently relocated directly down the street from our parking facility.   Our lots are SECURE, brightly lit, fenced-in with our employees providing continuous rotating and roaming security, 24 hours a day!

8. What if my trip is cancelled?

Smart Park does not charge for cancelled flights!    Show us your airline ticket upon checking out and you will go for free!

9. What if I have a dead battery, flat tire or I locked my keys in my car upon my return?

Smart Park provides emergency roadside assistance, i.e. battery jump- starts, pressurized air to fill your tire and free lock-out service by a professional locksmith to get you on your way...all at no charge to you!

10. What if I return home during a snowstorm and my car is covered in snow?

No need to worry while you are away, Smart Park provides the snow removal equipment and will run Snow Removal Crews 24/7 to plow the driveways and open up parking spots until the lots are functional.  Smart Park also hires outside assistance to help the customers dig out their vehicles.

11. What if I believe I left something on your shuttle van?

No matter if it is a diamond ring or a child's toy, rest assured, if it was left at our facility or on one of our shuttles, Smart Park logs all Lost & Found articles and keeps the items under lock and key.  Please call to inquire.

(May 24, 2018) Parking was fine although the lot itself is very hard to find. This is the 2nd time I used this lot, but the 1st time I almost got lost trying to find it. This time I was 'upgraded' for free to valet parking since the self-park lot was full. That worked out fine. My car was waiting for me when I came back to pick it up.
